I N D I A
yay,
well all good news so far, although I've spent the last few days a bit weak with a case of acute gravy bum. We had a great few days in Mumbai a nice full on introduction to India, hot stinky sweaty, busy busy busy. Both me and Nicky took a day to soak it up and tune into the rhythm of it all.
our only dodgy day was our last day in Mumbai, getting ready to be extras on a big Bollywood movie we hurriedly packed our bags and left our guesthouse, we were booked on the night train that night down to Goa so had to leave the set early. The movie is called "Love Story 2050" sounds classy huh? It turns out its a pretty big budget film. It's got Miss India playing the main part and they are filming some scenes in Australia as well.
It turns out the stress caused by my dodgy street food upset stomach, that as well as a little bit of firm persuasion that we HAVE to leave early to get back to get our train was slightly compounded by the fact we realised in our rush we had left our passports underneath our mattress in Mumbai.
It all turned out perfectly well, in the end.... if any one ever stays in Mumbai, go to Hotel Volga, just a couple of doors up from Leopold's Bar. ( the drug dealers out the front will help you find it.)
Well today we have started our Motorbike journey up the coast of Goa, more updates and some more photos to come soon.
Will.

Update
well, The Festival has begun. Me and Nicky are now living over the other side of town. It's over here still only a short ride to work. You can check out a short tour of our place here all is well, its cosy and lovely.
Mum has come and gone, she had about a month in UK, a few days up here in the Forrest Rd house, then a bit of a jaunt around england, I met her down there to scatter Johnbol's (her dad, my grandad) ashes. It was a nice little trip, it does feel strange that in the less than two years I've been here I have scattered both of my grandfathers ashes.
Any ways, I've been getting into Critical Mass, it's a great fun last friday of the month bike ride. It's a sorta protest fun ride, me and my friend Spanish Al are doing a website for it now aswell http://www.EdinburghCriticalMass.com
